Lillico’s Country Store, Aylesford has been serving the local rural community since 1840. Offering a wide variety of pet, equestrian and farming products and services, the store offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to all customers. The highly trained staff are knowledgeable and passionate about animal care and can offer help and advice for an extensive range of animals. Lillico’s is also home to horse and animal feed manufacturer, Saracen Horse Feeds, with the mill being located next door to the shop.
A family-owned business since 1840, the business originally traded grain and corn in Croydon, before fully relocating to the Aylesford site in 1977. Expanding the store in 1979, the business purchased Attlee’s Country Store, Dorking to become Lillico Attlee Country Stores. Attlee’s Country Store is equally steeped in history, founded over two hundred years ago by corn merchant John Attlee (great-grandfather of British Prime Minister, Clement Attlee). Lillico has withstood the test of time, and now in its fifth generation of ownership, are proud to still hold the same family values on which the store was founded today.
Lillico’s offers free parking for all customers, with plenty of space to load your car and a free carry to car service offered if required. As a shop full of animal lovers, the store welcomes dogs, and even has a dog treat waiting at the till for all our canine customers! There is an onsite dog groomer, dog weigh scales, and onsite expert nutrition advice for all animals.
As well as an extensive pet and animal section, Lillico also offers the latest ranges of country and equestrian clothing as well as a gift section too. For horse riders, there is a free of charge service for hat fitting and body protectors in store.
Lillico's is also home to the wonderful Farmers Table, stocking a range of locally sourced fresh fruit & vegetables, dairy, deli, dried goods, and giftware. We take pride in supporting the local rural community and showcasing their local produce to our customers.
Lillico’s is committed to reducing their carbon footprint and recycle all plastic and cardboard waste. All damaged or unsold pet and animal feed is donated to local charities.
